Think about a man who was a carpenter and was a photographer,
and now cannot use his hands.
He loves to eat, and he cannot. We feed him through his tube.
Immediately I understood that the Zion we knew will never be back again.
I won't have my friend. He was my best friend.
My girls, especially the little one, will never enjoy the father she's supposed to have.

Zion began this treatment three years ago.
We can see he can hold things like a spoon, like a pen. This is huge.
I'm Sima, and my husband Zion has a chronic movement disorder.

Our work gives people a chance.
It gives them another good day to enjoy more little moments.
That's why quality is so important to me.
My name is Dvir, and I'm proud to work at Teva.

When I saw it was a spoon, I could not stop thinking about,
how could this small thing be so important?

Hello!
Until now he's been fed only by a tube.
He misses all the fun of enjoying food, enjoying cake, ice cream.
And now because he's moving so much and because he can swallow better,
Now he can hold the spoon and eat cake alone.
He doesn't need me to help him.
It's really a small thing, but for us, it's the world.

The small things that make a huge difference.
That’s why it was important that you see Zion,
and you see exactly what your work does in the real life.
Very important to me to see the goal of whom we are helping
To help to improve what we have now and maybe
get even better results in future medicine.

Please continue.
I will. Thank you.

Warms my heart to know that what we do can be huge for families like this.

"It's really a small thing, but for us, it's the world."

Finding the right treatment for Zion's condition has enabled him to steadily hold a spoon and enjoy his favorite cake, on his own.

I love traveling because I can spend more free time with my family, with friends.
It's given my life meaning
.
But because of my condition
, it takes away the whole enjoyment.
It means living a simple life
.
I started taking my treatment a few years ago
.
I am Monica, and I was diagnosed with a neurological condition
.

I think people are a big reason why I love what I do.
But it's also the hope that you are helping others around the world
.
But because we deal with so much every day
,
it's easy to forget what our works means to each patient
.
My name is Katarzyna
, and I'm proud to work for Teva.

I didn't know what to expect.
I was excited, nervous
, this suitcase.
I wanted to know what it meant
.

Hello. It's very nice to meet you. let's sit. Yeah.
So Monica so I understand that traveling is a change in your life because
you are able to travel farther and more frequent
.
Yes. My life is my own life
. I can do many things.

I can go dancing with my children.
And I can go traveling without the fear
.

So it's like, you know, that you have your life back.
Now I'm free. So you can celebrate this little moments, right?
Yes
. I'm the owner of my life.

It was a discovery that so many aspects of life we are having for granted.
But hearing how much a suitcase
, how much just going out for the day and
being able to enjoy exploring without that fear
,
it made me proud, proud to say I do something like this
.

"Now I'm the owner of my life"

Finding the right treatment for Monika means she can spend the holidays with her family and explore the world again.

For me, playing guitar is all about being in the moment.
It's about forgetting about everything in the past
that has happened to me
,
forgetting about all my worries or
hopes or aspirations for the future
.

The process of going through a diagnosis was a sense of loss.
It was a sense of grief
. It was quite disabling.
I had trouble maintaining relationships
,
I had trouble holding down jobs
.
But now I'm hopeful that the best has yet to come in many ways
.
Now that the hardest part is behind me
.

I'm Carlos, and I'm living with schizophrenia.

Everything we do is for the patient.
The quality, patient safety, the compliance
.
It's all there in support of the patients
.
It's really been rewarding to see that I'm the one
helping to make sure that the product gets made safely
,
no matter how challenging the day was
,
I'm ready to get up the next morning and do it all over again
.

I'm Josh, and I'm proud to work at Teva.

It was kind of exciting when I saw the guitar.
For Carlos, it sounds like it was a really positive way to find this outlet.

Carlos. Gosh. Nice to meet you. How you doing?
Mind. This is me
. Living the dream.

Quite. Tell me a little bit more about the treatment.

You know, treatment has enabled me to live a life
that I didn't think was possible when I first got diagnosed
,
a life filled with love
, meaningful relationships, work, purpose.
It allowed me to go back to school and
,
you know, continue to enjoy life
.

Can you tell me a little bit more about the guitar?
Sure. You know, for me, Josh
, the guitar has been an instrument that's taken me on a journey.
It can be pretty hard living with this condition
.
But ultimately, now it's allowed me to connect with people
In a more deeper and meaningful way
as I express my lived experience
,
through my music, and through my songwriting
.

The fact that he is where he is, and he is as successful as he is.
I am super impressed
, and I'm also super energized
to get back to work to help folks like Carlos
.
