Katya (Ekaterina) joined IVAX (acquired by Teva in 2006) in 2004 as a receptionist. When an HR Administrator position opened up, Katya grabbed the opportunity. "I applied to move to this new job within the company, and although I hadn't held a similar position in the past. Teva gave me the opportunity to prove myself and gave me all the support and training in this area to help me succeed".
Subsequently, Katya was promoted to the position of Compensation and Benefits Manager in the HR department. She is responsible for activities related to employee insurance, compensation surveys and bonuses. "Our slogan here at HR is 'All for the people'," Katya points out. "Our work is focused solely on the motivation and satisfaction of our employees. Teva is a fast growing company and we have to make sure that our people are prepared and comfortable with the changes."
