"At the end of the day, I manage my time and do my work the way I feel best. I was always encouraged to initiate and lead. My ideas aren't always accepted, but are always listened to."
Eitan joined Teva over 19 years ago as an industrial engineer, and has served in several positions that have been "enough to really get to know the company inside out."
Today he's responsible for communications between the purchasing offices in China and India and the global procurement organization. "My current position is the most exciting and interesting one I've had here, and I'm sure I would not have been offered it 10 years ago. Teva identifies the talent, surrounds it with a supportive environment, and waits until it ripens."
Eitan's commitment to Teva is unquestionable. "The commitment is mutual. Teva has already proven to me that when I have a problem, even if it's personal, they will do everything they can to help me. At the same time, I'm happy to be in my office late at night working – except on Wednesdays when I play basketball."
Eitan feels he's achieved a lot professionally, and is happy to give credit where credit is due. "I'm where I am today because of Teva. It gave me the ability to lead my team in my own way. At the end of the day, I manage my time and do my work the way I feel best. I was always encouraged to initiate and lead. My ideas aren't always accepted, but are always listened to."
