Teva Hungary has just launched a new CSR initiative called “You are the hero”. The goal of the campaign is to teach people resuscitation. Research suggests that many lives could be saved if people knew how to apply effective resuscitation until the arrival of an ambulance.Zalán Mészáros, one of Teva Hungary’s sales representatives, served as a paramedic for 19 years. Zalán created a resuscitation technique that is easy to learn and use. He also came up with the idea for the project. Zalán is now training all Teva Hungary employees in this technique and is encouraging them to spread the information among friends and family.The program kicked off on January 13 and is supported by a nationwide information campaign. Over 40 Hungarian journalists attended the launch. At the launch, they practiced the resuscitation technique and learned how they too can be the hero.
